Madhumita Das is a senior technical specialist at the International Center for Research on Women’s (ICRW) Asia Regional Office. Her areas of expertise include conceptual and instrument design, program design, training and capacity building, data management and analysis, monitoring and evaluation, dissemination of project results and liaising with donors on research studies and interventions related to violence against women, engaging men and boys, and reproductive health. Ms. Das currently serves as Project Manager for ICRW’s Parivartan program, an innovative initiative that enlists coaches and community mentors to serve as role models to reduce violence and inequitable gender norms among male cricket players ages 10 to 16 in more than 100 schools in Mumbai, India.
I serve as a point person for sports and gender initiative which ICRW is implementing and evaluating. I also serve as a core member of Sports for Development Initiative chapter.
