Sally is a Nigerian American Social Intrapreneur and Executive. She has spent the last decade working at the intersection of sport, social impact, social entrepreneurship, and international affairs. Her think local, act global approach to her work has served well in building successful strategic partnerships, and supporting major fundraising efforts across major US cities and across three continents.
She brings her knack for collaborative problem solving and leadership style to her work at PeacePlayers International where she is the United States Co-Executive Director. In her role, she leads the strengthening and scaling of PeacePlayers work across five markets. She co-leads fundraising, board development, key institutional partnership engagement with stakeholders such as Nike, NBPA, and the NBA, and a team of passionate leaders who are using the power of sport and collective action to build more thriving communities.
Sally is also an advocate, thought leader, and consultant in areas of leadership, partnership building for social businesses, advancing girls and women through sports. Some of her clients have included Women's Sports Leadership Academy England, International Olympic Committee. She is inspired by stories of overcoming and leaning into our unique stories to inform our leadership style. She prides herself in having an unwavering self-belief, taking joy in the little things, and getting out of our own way. Sally’s experiences as a lifelong athlete, community builder, and senior leader gives her a well-rounded perspective of the intersection of sports and social impact. She regularly shares her expertise on panels, keynotes, and guest lectures including at -- Yale University Jackson School of Global Affairs, Columbia University, Georgetown University, United States Congress. She was a member of the 2022 Laureus x Gatorade Black Leaders in Sport Cohort and a participant in the 2023-3024 Stanford Graduate School of Business LEAD Executive Program for Business Innovation.
