I'm mainly interested in the "business" side of Sport & Dev minded NGO's. How can they become less dependent from donors and create a sustainable self-generating incomeflow that helps them to move more towards a social enterprise business model.

Tim van Dooren's Biography
With Master Degrees in Marketing and Entrepreneurship and a personal interest in sport and development , I joined SCORE in 2009.
After completing my Master thesis on the value of Social Entrepreneurship, I worked with social enterprises in Ghana and the Netherlands before I decided to move to South Africa. I'm working in the business development department, coordinating income-generating activities for SCORE with a strong focus on the SCORE projects that are linked to the 2010 FIFA World Cup.
I live in Cape Town and enjoy to spend my free time on the beach; (kite) surfing or playing soccer and volleyball!
