I set up, through a UK based charity an international tournament for communities, park authorities and law enforcement, called World Parks, World Cup, Pafuri Regional Championship.
This tournament was held in the Great Limpopo Transfrontier Park. We partnered with Kruger National Park, South Africa and Limpopo National Park, Mozambique.
We now have initiated a sport for social development programme with 18 schools across the Great Limpopo Transfrontier Park in Southern Africa, this has been made possible with the help of Coaches Across Continents. The schools we will be assisting are from the Pafuri area of South Africa, Zimbabwe, and Mozambique.
As a progression of this tournament we now have initiated the Pafuri Girls Football league, with 6 teams from each country we operate in; South africa, Zimbabwe and Mozambique (still to be finalised). 12 teams have so far taken part in this league impacting on 240 girls who have never had this opportunity before nor been part of a formalised sporting activity.
We continue to work with communities and schools on a weekly basis implementing our Education Outside the Classroom through Purposeful Play with guidance from our strategic partners, Coaches Across Continents.
Lastly, World Parks, World Cup has been invited and has participated in a Youth Programme Theory of Change for the youth across the Great Limpopo Transfrontier Conservation Area.
